A Prince, A Princess, and A Smile.

"The youngest princess of the Eucalyst Kingdom never smiles," said the crown prince of Colt Empire, Prince Edward. His little brother, the rebellious Prince Ludwig sat in front of him, chained. Struggling to be free from his chain, he glared a "So?" to his brother.

Prince Edward murmured a frightening facts : "You're engaged to her,"
"So go there and woo her." He smiled, roses behind his back.

Lui gulped. Prince Edward's orders were never without meanings. And he knew exactly what his big brother was saying :

"I don't want my sister-in-law to be such a gloomy person. So you go there, find out her problems, flirt with her if must, and make her happy. Unless she can at least move the ends of her mouth upwards regularly, DON'T EVER COME BACK!"

Such, was the ridiculous order his ladies-man of a brother told him to do, just because he tried to run away from Prince Edward's so-called Love Lesson. Seriously, who need that kind of lesson anyway?

*~*~*~*

"Prince, we're at the Eucalyst's castle," Ludwig's aide and best friend, Errion Wolvern woke Lui as their carriage rocked through the big garden within the castle's brick borders. Lui gave a small grunt, as he was sleeping until Errion woke him up.

"Erry, tell me more about Princess Ruanna," Lui yawned. Errion grinned.

"Despite looking so unenthusiastic towards the princess, you seem quite keen to know more about her, eh?"
Lui gave a small laugh, and Errion continued talking.

*~*~*~*

"Princess Ruanna doesn't have a mother, and the king never remarries nor he has other concubine." Lui nodded.

"She also doesn't speak much, and doesn't do much." Lui nodded again. Well that was boring, he thought.

"But I heard she's good at archery." Okay, that's not boring. Lui started to grin.

"Aaaannddd...." And there's more, right? Lui looked at Errion, waiting patiently.

".....And that's all."

Lui frowned. What a good friend Errion is, trolling when he wasn't needed to the most. He was hoping that Errion could find out more about his, fiancee, but that information was quite, nay, useless.

"Why was the information too little?"

"More information need more of this;" Errion rubbed his fingers against each other, while his sharp eyes turned coin shaped.

"...Have you forgotten who hired you?" Lui asked.

"Your father, His Highness King of Colt?" Errion smiled. Lui smiled too.

".....I'm sorry, you're my one and only employer, Your Highness Prince Ludwig." Errion said as Lui's hands grabbed his neck, ready to strangle him to death. At last Lui let his hold on his aide's neck loosen. Then the carriage halted. They have arrived, the front door of the castle as big and tall, and the magnificent view in front of them a monument.

Errion got out from the carriage first, followed by Lui. They weren't surprised, though. Colt Empire's Palace was much more gaudy, and quite amazing. The castle was elegant on their own simple way. Lui scanned the surroundings as Errion busily speaking to a man, maybe one of the king's announcer. Lui saw many trees, forest maybe, not far from where they were.

Instincts suddenly kicked in, Lui walked aimlessly towards the end of the garden, to the forest. He doesn't know why, but he suddenly craved to explore the forest, seeking the adventure he might get inside it.

Or maybe meeting with his princess accidentally.
