Hino always hated traditional clothes. More so if it was added with laces, ribbons decorations, etc. Seriously, why should he wear something that looks a lot like girl's clothes? He's a boy!

There's no way in hell he'd like wearing a girl's clothes!!
He had complained to his father not once, it's a zillion times already! Who knows what kind of trauma he will have when he become an adult. And his aide, that damned aide Reisho! He even took pleasure in taking his photos openly.
"Father, why can't I stop wearing this, this horrible clothes?" He asked his father, the King of Makai one day. His father just patted his head lovingly.
"It's a tradition, Hi-Ou. Every prince born wore the clothes until they reached the appropriate age," Was his father's reply. "You don't like it?" His father asked.
"I despise it." Hino answered bluntly. "It's really annoying, you know. And you wouldn't even let my hair be short! You don't intend to raise me as a girl, right?" He stared at his father. Hino felt the king's hand twitched at the mention of raising his youngest son as a princess.
".....Nonsense, you're a prince! Believe me!!"
"Well Hi-Ou, I got lots of work to do. Since I'm a king! You can go now! Hohoho!!!"
Hino thought his father was just giving an excuse.
When he went to his eldest brother palace, he told him all that has happened between Hino and the King.
"Father was lying." said his brother. Hino's eyes was wide in shock.
"...About raising me as a princess?!!" Hino thought he almost had a heart attack.
"About everything." answered his brother. "None of us ever wore clothes like you when we were your age. Heck, I even thought you are my sister until you were about 7 years old. Seems that old man really intends to raise you as a princess, because I don't think he will let you wear any clothes other that what you wear right now."
That's not a double, it's a triple shock to the 12 year old boy. He never thought his father lied to him! That moment, he cut his hair immediately, using his brother's sword, burned all his traditional clothes and almost tried to strangle his father to death! But unfortunately he was stopped by his 11 older brothers, who promised to give him their old clothes (since he doesn't have any clothes left) in return for not killing their only father.

Hino, now only called Hi-Ou by others, is a full fledged man. He doesn't, or is avoiding wearing any traditional clothes, even if it was just a yukata. He had make sure all the photos taken by Reisho was completely burned to ashes, the left was grind, and thrown like salt to the sea.
"Woah, who is this girl? So cute! Is this your little sister, Hi-Ou? She looked a lot like you!" said Yami, an acquaintance he had met while he's at the upper world named "Ten". Hi-Ou was surprised. 'Little sister'...? He never had any.
.....No way, right?
"What? Hiou-kun's lil sis? Let me see too!" Hime, his crush asked for the photo in Yami's hand. Oh no! Danger!! Hi-Ou wanted to stop her, but...
"Hime, DON'T---!!!"
".....What? Isn't this Hiou-kun?" Hi-Ou slapped his face. Blasted. He will have to kill Reisho after this.
