*Today too, my heart feels so strained
As I look at you once school is over. Lady ready?
Our walking pace never matches up...
What comes up from here on is a secret, so I walk little by little.
Lady ready?
***
"To-u-ya-! Hurry up, will you?" Touya Masamune frowned when he heard his name called. The girl in front of him waved and jumped, when he can clearly see her from a distance. Who can't? Ruelle Hana Tatsuke, his employer's only daughter was the only one in the area with a platinum blue hair. Wherever she was, she can always attract attention. "Geez, you are so slow, Touya!" She pouted when he was finally beside her. Touya ignored her. "You're the one too fast, Hana." He never called her by her first name. The name Hana suited her more, he thought.
Ruelle frowned. She poked the middle between his brows. "Stop frowning. You're going to get old early," Then she smiled. Touya rubbed his forehead. "Everyone gets old, Hana. Besides, even if I walked faster, we still have to queue up. This cafe is famous," He looked at the shop's signboard, and then turned to look at the people lining up in front of him. Ugh, he felt like going home already. "Why don't we go on weekends instead? Going on weekdays like today... I still have other work to do, you know?" He suggested.
"Nuh-uh-uh!" She waved a finger in front of him, looking displeased. "It has to be today. The super limited 'Special Tiramisu Pudding Cake' that I've been waiting for a year will only be sold today. There's no way I'm going to miss it!" Touya stared at her, not believing his ears. This girl is wasting my precious free time after school just for this..... Ah, if only she's not Hana, he would have left already. He sighed, slapping his face with his palm. "...Hana, if it was supposed to be super limited, wouldn't it have been sold out by now?"
Ruelle just grinned. "Don't worry, I'm an extremely lucky person." She said, and Touya sighed again. It's hard to retaliate with her when she was saying the truth.

I don't know because I know too much (question and answer)
And I've gotten good at pretending I'm not listening. (question and answer)
After taking a deep breath, I open my eyes
Stop wondering to myself and try to casually say "Good Morning!"
***
The morning in the Tatsuke household started with Touya's brother preaching on him about taking care of the young lady, then preaching more about what he shouldn't do to her, and ended with more preaching about his duties as the young lady's caretaker. At the same time, Touya was busy washing his face, brushing his teeth, ironing his school uniform and having breakfast. Even if he did listen, he knew it was the same thing his brother always said to him for the past 10 years. He was already a second year in high school now.
"...And Lady Ruelle's happiness-" his brother's speech was cut short by Touya. "-is my top and foremost priority, right?" He said, annoyed. "You know, you don't have to remind me about it everyday. I know my duties already," He finished his breakfast, before leaving his seat. A maid came to take his dirty dishes, and his brother just stared at him, dumbfounded. "I'm going to school, brother." He said, taking his bag and left. leaving his brother gaping his mouth at him.
Ruelle was on the way down the stairs when she saw Touya walking out from the kitchen. She smiled, and Touya smiled too. "Good morning, Hana. Breakfast is ready. We have chicken sandwich today," Ruelle quickly dashed downstairs when she heard that. "Hey, you'll fall-!!" His body moved unconsciously when Ruelle slipped from the stairs, then crashed at him. Keishi, Ruelle's younger brother yawned as he walked pass them. "...What are you guys doing? Sis, you're hurting big brother." It was like he was used to the scene.
Ruelle just laughed, but Touya groaned. "Hurry up and move, you're heavy." And the back of his head hurts.
***
I want you so much, enough to get tired of you... And my heart is full of tears
But I still don't know the basics of love...
This keeps on repeating, and just when I'm close, we move on...
Sadly, the sweet heart of a maiden in love is hard to deal with.
Hey, does this mean I love you?
***
Touya rubbed the back of his head as he walked home after school. "Ow! There's a bump..." He winced when his hand touched the bump. After this he needed to go to Ruelle's school to fetch her, before they can go home. It was easy when they were in elementary school, since they went to the same school. But now that he's a high school student and Ruelle a third year in middle school, his work increased and his free time after school wasted on accompanying his young lady.
Ruelle was already waiting in front of the school gate by the time he arrived. She doesn't look happy. "...Hana?" He called her. Ruelle immediately turned her face to look at him, looking worried. "Touya, are you alright?" She said as she walked anxiously toward him. "You kept rubbing your head on the way to school this morning, so I'm worried..." Her stray hands felt the back of his head gently, and Touya winced again when her fingers touched the bump. "That's a big bump there... Have you cooled it down yet?" She asked. Her dark violet eyes showed sorrow.
"Stop touching there!" He almost blushed. The young girl was too close to him! "This one is a new one. Some idiot threw a baseball straight to my head. I thought I almost die!" He said angrily. Realizing that it was not her fault, Ruelle left a huge sigh of relief before she smiled. Somehow Touya felt his heart just beat one beat faster than usual when he saw that. He frowned, wondering why did it happened. "Well, either way we should cool it down. Since it's hot, how about some ice-cream?"

Just when I thought I had a hold on this panorama,
I took two steps forward and two steps back... why? But lady, ready?
I can't stop until I reach my goal,
So it's fine not knowing any of this. So lady, ready?
Yesterday's answer (question and answer)
Is nothing in the face of today's answer... (question and answer)
I love you so much I can't hide it anymore
So let's just say it's fine to learn what I don't know some other day!

As usual, Ruelle's room never ceased to amaze Touya. He frowned. Everywhere around her room was filled with books. If her father's collection of books were called the 'Book Mountains', Ruelle's collections would be called 'Furnitures' instead of books. Almost everything in her rooms were made of books she collected. Her bed, her desk, her chair.... Really, she was such a weirdo. He crossed the thought. The only seemingly normal family member was the young master, Keishi. Every one else have some screw loose somewhere.
"Here's your tea and snacks, Hana." She was too deep in her book to even listen to him now. He glanced again at Ruelle sitting on top of her collections. Was it even comfortable? He raised an eyebrow. He needed to tell her to send all her 'creations' to that second-hand bookstore so it would be more appreciated than being her 'chair' and 'bed'. Sometimes he itched to tell the shopkeeper, Gorou, how Ruelle treated her collections, even though he knew deep inside she loved all her books dearly.
Seeing that he doesn't have anything else to do inside her room, Touya left, making a mental note to tell Ruelle about sending her books to the bookstore by the end of the week.

Uneventful scenes are also important, so underline them.
Also, add a class that teaches about love!
Sometimes, I wonder how many miles is my distance from your heart.
But maybe I'm worrying too much... Those are my true feelings though.
***
He knew he was in denial. But Ruelle was just too eccentric he was too angry to admit it. The girl was always making him troubled! It was one of those days that Touya wanted to just walk straight toward her and take her away from unwanted men. He hid behind one of the blooming cherry trees while Ruelle was being confessed to by an unknown man. It was Spring, yet his heart felt more like Winter, or Autumn. He sighed. Snooping around and listening to confession were so not his style!
He decided that he better come out from his hiding place and do what he wanted to do; grabbing her hand and take her away.
***
What should I do during this or that?
Hum my favourite melody?
Just where do I lie in your heart?
Round and round the clock, day and night, recital!
Someday, I really, really send it, precious for you!
Someday I really, really send it...
***
"Sorry, I can't respond to your feel-" Ruelle was surprised when Touya suddenly popped out of nowhere and grabbed her hand forcefully when she was just about to reject someone's confession. Then he just dragged her without saying anything. He was glaring at the poor man as they left him alone, too scared to fight back. "Hey, Touya? What are you doing? Let me go. You're hurting my hand!" Ruelle ordered. She was confused, happy, and furious all at the same time. Just what is going on with him today?
Touya took a glance at her, and stopped abruptly. Ruelle almost bumped onto him if he didn't held out his other hand to catch her. "Be careful," He whispered softly. Ruelle's eyes widen. What in the world-? He never says anything that gently before! She looked at him with a horrified look. "...Tou..ya...?" Did you eat something strange? ...Was what she was about to say next, but the rare smile on his face made her stop. If she could blush, she would. But since she doesn't know the reason behind his smile, she was afraid.
Then the smile suddenly stopped. "By the way, what happened with that confession?" He asked, as if nothing happened. "Ah, I rejected it..." She answered, unsure with what tone she should use. She was angry, and she was also confused. Today's Touya was weird! Touya huffed. "Good," He held her closer to him, and whispered something to her ear, making her blush. She looked at him, frowning. "What do you mean by that?" He just smirked. "I mean what I meant to say," and gave a light peck on her left cheek.

Once that fateful day comes, listen to my voice
Because you can't make appointments when it comes to love...
So don't miss the chance!

"I still can't understand!" Ruelle demanded an answer as Touya began walking in front of her. They were holding hands as they walked home. "What can't you understand? That you're actually an oblivious idiot, Hana?" He teased her. She pouted. "I hope Papa will get angry at you," She threatened, and Touya just pulled a poker face. "Then maybe I should just let you go?" He said, loosening his hold on her hand. But Ruelle gripped their hands tightly, not wanting to let go. Touya smiled. "...Don't," Ruelle muttered, she was blushing again!
***
I want you so much, enough to get tired of you...
and my heart is full of smiles!
I want to learn the basics of love just a bit more.
This keeps on repeating, and just when I'm close, we move on...
This sweet heart of a maiden in love still haven't been dealt with.
Hey, does this mean I love you?

Touya huffed. "Good," He held her closer to him, and whispered something to her ear, making her blush.
"...Because you're mine, after all."

Someday, I really, really send it, precious for you!
