"...My little sister totally beautified myself by 500%," Khairi Lokman said as he read her writings in her workbook. "Really? Let me see!" Najmi, his neighbor and childhood friend grabbed the book from his hand. "I wonder what kind of things that little kid wrote about you..." He cackled a little before he suddenly turned into stone. Khairi smirked. "I told you," he took the book from Najmi's hand and flicked his finger on Najmi's forehead. "That kid totally beautified me,"
The young man winced a little, and remembering the horrifying writings in the workbook, began to search for Khairi's little sister, Iman Firdaus. The little girl was drawing something on paper when Najmi called her. "Did you call my name, brother?" She looked at him cutely. Najmi felt warm for some reason, before he recalled his mission. He grabbed the young girl's little shoulders and said in a serious tone; "Kid, just what kind of saint did you see in that black-hearted devil named Khairi Lokman?"
The reply was a confused look from the little girl and a kick from behind by her big brother. "Just what kind of devil did you see in me, Najmi?" He gave his friend a murderous smile. Najmi's expression became white with fear. "You know, your mother called me just now to ask if she should burn all your games and posters hanging around in your room. I still hasn't replied yet..." He threatened. Najmi felt the threat. "I'm sorry, Khairi! Don't do that, I'll cry!" He wailed. Khairi huffed. "You're already crying, idiot."
Najmi wanted revenge. He grabbed both Iman's hands and started to badmouth her brother. "Listen up, don't be like your demonic brother. He's totally no good. In reality, he's a devil in human's clothing, an ambassador of evil, the most evil last boss. He'd order you around, acting as though he's the king, bully you, make you his slave..." He earned another kick from Khairi. "Enough, you're saying like I'm some sort of sadistic monster. Go home, before you ruined my little sister's mind!" He growled at him.
Najmi was showing his tongue at Khairi when he was shoved out from the house. "Try doing that again and I'll cut your tongue!" Khairi shouted at him. "Bye bye, big brother~ Come again!" Iman waved at Najmi, who in turn waved back happily at her. When he was finally out of sight, Najmi sighed. "I still can't believe that such an angel like her is related to that demon..." He shivered when he felt a sudden chill in the air. Khairi's murderous aura still lingered around him, it seemed.

"Now that that idiot is gone, I can finally be at peace." Khairi sighed, only to catch sight of a frown on his sister's cute face. "What's with that frown?" He flicked her forehead. "Ow!" Iman quickly rubbed her forehead. "...Well, you kept calling him an idiot. What if he really turned into an idiot then?" She asked. Khairi made an aghast look at her. He slumped into depression, and the area around him turned gloomy. "...Then I'd have to be his nanny forever..?" Khairi murmured gloomily.
Iman was confused. "...Akhi?" she called him. "What's wrong...? Did I say something bad?" She asked, worried about her brother. Khairi glanced at her. Looking at her flustered expression made him smile. "Nah, he's already an idiot. So there's nothing wrong with calling an idiot as an idiot," He mumbled to himself as he patted the little girl's tiny head. "Ah, but you can't call him that, okay? A good girl respect her elders, got it?" He grinned at her, and she smiled back at him. "Okay," She nodded.
"Well, that's that. What do you want for lunch? I'm thinking Western today," He looked at her. Iman just stared at her brother. "Hmm?" He smiled at her. Then, smiling too, she replied; "Then how about burger? The last time you made it, it was so delicious!" Khairi just groaned. "Why do you always ask for something troublesome.... this kid..." He sighed, but there was hint of smile on his face. "You should help out too, Iman. Then I wouldn't worry that your future husband will ever starve," He laughed as he teased her.

While Khairi was busy sorting out the ingredients to make lunch, Iman went to clean up her mess in the dining room. She saw her workbook, and opened the page where she wrote about her brother. Sneaking a peek at him, she smiled and wrote something else in the book. "Iman? Come here and help me," Khairi called, surprising her. She quickly took all her belongings and put it in her room, before dashing out to help Khairi. "Coming, akhi!" Khairi looked at her with a brow raised. Iman just gave him a smile.

Someone said that akhi is a meanie.
But I don't believe him.
Because akhi is kind, sweet and gentle.
He is also handsome, strong and smart.
Today he cooked burger because I asked him.
Even though he said it was troublesome.
Look, isn't he the best brother ever?
