Rokka Melt - chapter 2

Hullo peeps! New post in the New Year! あけましておめでとうございました~!! *cue clapping noises* I'm thinking of trying to write summaries for some series - it won't be always, just when I feel like it (づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づ Just think of it as an experiment. Besides, I'm summarising from Japanese RAWs hey! With my meager Japanese, trying to write summaries? Hahaha, just be ready to blow your mind with my sure-to-go-???¿¿¿ with me (> v <) MWAHAHAHA!! My first test subject will be Rokka Melt - A new series by Rei Toma, the author of Reimei no Arcana if you please :D Since chapter 1 was scanlated already, I'll just proceed with the second chapter (•ω•) Click on the pics for bigger size :D Summaries under cut!

Chapter 2 <3

The chapter started off with our main heroine - Ichika Tsuchiya - getting dressed to go to school. Summer vacation just ended, and she said she'll do her best in the new semester. But when she opened the door, lo and behold, her two fiancés already waiting in front of the door ( ﾟヮﾟ)

She was surprised, can't be helped. And Tougo Hiyama - the big bro - decided it's time to ditch the young'un and go to work. At the train station, Yukinari - the lil bro - was stunned when he saw how bold the girls at the train station, wearing their uniform revealingly. Ichika had to call him back to earth 'cos the train's departing yo. Of course, as an ikemen he cannot escape the curse of being the center of attention（´・ω・ `）

A girl bumped him, and Yukinari stoned when he felt the girl pressing her breast on his arm. Feeling cold all of a sudden, Ichika turned to face Yukinari. Because the girl kept pressing herself on him, the temperature turned colder until it's (literally!) freezing inside the train. And since Yukinari still can't control his power, the situation only turned fiercer. 

Things suddenly calmed down when Ichika hugged Yukinari. Ichika, afraid that the situation could become worse, started to imagine being questioned by the authorities -> leading to her family getting arrested (or something?). "Bad. Isn't this bad? I can't stop them if they (her parents) decided to run away. We/They might get hurt... or might die..."

She blamed the pendant for everything, lamenting on her unlucky fate. Then she was surprised when she realised Yukinari isn't with him. Turn out he fainted on the road, scribbling "Hot" as his murderer ( ﾟヮﾟ) lol. Poor Ichika, having to drag him to school. Looking at the weakling Yukinari, she actually felt sorry for him, even though he's a Snow Man (equivalent to Snow Woman).

Oh noes! here come another rival, Yukkin! Quick, show your manly side to Ichika! though I know you'll fail miserably

Sasano offered to help Ichika, good for you man! but she freaked out, thinking that they'll get exposed when Sasano carry Yukinari on his back (since his back will feel cold). "I-it's fine! You'll be late, so you should go first!" She said, and proceed to carry Yukinari on her back. Where's your manly pride, Yukinari?? She thought that this is the worst, why does Sasano-kun have to see her with a guy, when the teacher introduced a new student (manga cliche): Yukinari Hiyama. 

Girls started swooning over his looks while Ichika was grieving on how their (Yukinari and Ichika's) eyes met, and then the teacher telling them to sit next to each other because they're acquaintances. At first, she was troubled about him being a Snow Man, but then if people know they are engaged.... "I don't want that!" She thought, and then whispered to him : "If... If you please don't mention about the engagement thing," 

She was annoyed alright. Then a student raised a hand, saying that their class have air-conditioner now. They teacher said yes, and it'a all thanks to Hiyama = Yukinari . Ichika bit her lips, thinking that it's not for the class, but for themselves (Yukinari/Tougo)! Then she saw how all the girls in her class started ogling at Yukinari, thinking that not only he is rich, but also good looking! Ichika was aghast. "...Don't! Don't be fooled-! That person... is a monster... A monster I tell you-!!" she screamed in her mind. 

Then she heard that a new infirmary doctor has come to their school, and that he's also good looking. Thinking "No way... no way, right...," she went to the infirmary with Yukinari, and found Tougo smiling at them radiantly. He asked them if they're feeling too hot in the classroom, but then said that there's air-conditioner in the class right? He then mumbled that there's none in the infirmary (I'm just guessing) though, when Ichika asked him why he's here, replacing the nurse who's on maternity leave.... Tougo replied, "...Now that you mention it,"

He cupped her face, saying that if she ever feel sick, come to the infirmary, and he'll make her feel all better いやあん〜！！〆(・∀・＠) She refused, thank you very much lol XD then two girls come to the infirmary - one of them was injured near their thigh, and when Tougo was helping her, Yukinari was embarrassed, seeing their exposed thigh. When Tougo said how great Tokyo girls are (Ichika was disgusted by him), Yukinari complained about how short their skirt are, and how they are so vulgar. 

"Don't say that..." Tougo replied, "Look, even Ichika-chan's skirt is short." Surprised, Ichika retaliatated; "I...!? I wear shorts underneath!! So it's fine even if it's seen!" and Tougo proceed to flip her skirt lol (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ She freaked out, saying what if the lil' bro suddenly flips, but Yukinari just went I'm-fine-'cos-you-no-sex-appeal-so-whatevs mode. Ichika was flabbergasted, but Tougo calmed her down, saying how she's such a healthy girl, and to him, she's very cute. Embarrassed, Ichika pushed him away, screaming sexual harassment at him. Tougo grabbed her hands, and said that every girl want to be called cute, right?

Ichika answered that his hands are cold, and stomped outside, saying that lunchtime is over. Outside, Ichika thinks that Tougo's hands are cold, yet hers are so warm. Yukinari followed her from behind, muttering "...Simpleton" and annoying Ichika again. Suddenly she wondered how his powers went berserk when he saw cockroaches (he's scared of'em) and girls' exposed body, yet he's fine when it's her. She denied it, saying that it's the power of the pendant, and right now, he's following her like a bug...

Feeling annoyed, she asked him why's he following her like a cockroach, and Yukinari replied if she's gonna ask Tougo about the engagement too. Ichika opened the door angrily, saying that it's probably gonna be okay, before Yukinari and she was charged by waiting classmates. They said they wanted to know Yukinari more, and asked if he wanted to hang out with everyone together after school. Yukinari was stunned, and Ichika was aghast. She immediately became his mediator, saying that he just moved so he can't, so next time. The girls pushed Ichika way, and kept bugging him with questions. Yukinari started to feel dizzy, and Ichika, afraid that he might go berserk and make a blizzard in the classroom, quickly hugged him. 

Yukinari finally calmed down, but then the girls started asking Ichika questions too. "What do you mean by this Ichika-! Don't tell us you're going out?" They asked her. "Are you her boyfriend?" They asked Yukinari. Just when Ichika denied it, thinking "damn!", while trying to explain to them, Yukinari grabbed her and said to the whole class; 

Ichika looked at him, her eyes said; "You said you won't tell anybody about it, but why're you saying this now" and Yukinari looked at her back, answering; "It's to avoid girls, so it's inevitable," The girls were surprised, asking them if it's true, and Ichika replied reluctantly (from the back, their hands are grabbing each other's clothes angrily)  that their parents decided it. They squealed, saying that arranged marriage still exist in this age. However a girl then said that if he doesn't like it, then there's still a chance, right? Both of them are troubled by it, and their eyes were conversing again.

"For the sake of avoiding girls" his eyes implored. Ichika thinks 'Exposed -> omitted (things happen) -> Poor' XD So they answered that somehow, they're lovey-dovey.... and the girls in the class squealed again, surprising outside. After school, Ichika thought that this is the worst. Even so, the girls now can avoid getting involved, and her family's prosperity is not in danger anymore but... she saw Sasano in front of her, talking with someone.

I feel really sorry for Ichika. Sure, Yukinari is handsome (and I do admit that I'm actually shipping them together), but he's such a loser. He's weak, troublesome, and useless you'll know in next chapter and definitely a jerkლ(ಠ益ಠლ) so I'm okay if she chooses Tougo or Sasano or other man instead of Yukinari. What kept me in the ship is because I want to know how their relationship will develop, whether he's going to change for the better or not. If he's not, well, poor Ichika. She's too good for him *sigh* Well, we'll find out sooner or later so until my mood to do summary comes again, ta-ta! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
